It's our final episode, and the gang is all here. Beth, Elizabeth and Kelly join up for one last time to talk about all they've learned in the three plus years since I Can't Believe it's Not News began. Join us as we talk about our journey and how you can keep fighting fake news.
One of our shared favorite websites to check your sources is Media Bias Fact Check. We used them nearly every episode to make sure we were bringing you the best possible sources of real news.
We have had so many great guests in the past three years. Here's a link to some of our favorites:
We also had a chance to talk about some of our favorite episodes over the past nearly 60 shows. This was a hard choice since we think this fight is worth it for every episode, but here are a few we think really hit home for us:
And we can't leave you without a Jam...
Beth's Final Jam: With Or Without You by U2
Elizabeth's Final Jam: Watchmen (TV Series)
Set in an alternate history where masked vigilantes are treated as outlaws, Watchmen embraces the nostalgia of the original groundbreaking graphic novel of the same name while attempting to break new ground of its own. Elizabeth also highly recommends the graphic novel by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons.
Kelly's Final Jam: Paper Girls by Brian K Vaughn and Cliff Chiang
Paper Girls follows the story of four 12-year-old newspaper delivery girls (Erin, MacKenzie, KJ, and Tiffany) set in Stony Stream, a fictional suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. While out delivering papers on the morning after Halloween (1988), the town is struck by an invasion from a mysterious force from the future. The girls become unwillingly caught up in the conflict between two warring factions of time travelers.
Spread jam, not lies.
